Sorry to say, but if I had a strawberry farm, and had to choose between an experienced and unexperienced, I know what I would choose. It might not take a high education level to do it, but in any job experience matters. Edited by Johndough - 30 Jul 2010 at 10:45pm |

people need to do their homework and not just believe propaganda from consultants who make money off people who want to apply for visas... they don't care if you find a job or not, they already have their money so they will tell you anything to get you to apply through them. if you don't know anyone in denmark or you can't secure a job or at the very least a few interviews BEFORE coming here I would think very long and hard about coming and listen to stories like Bjay's or the one that I posted a while back about the guy who was interviewed by TV2.

Hello All
I was reading this post at another forum, have a look at this: Denmark started its immigration program when it was in urgent need of professionals but due to bad economy rather than absorbing new professionals it throw out old ones. At the moment Denmark has a surplus of locals Danes + foreign professionals. Out
of this situation employers have a wide choice of local and foreign
professionals. Now when it comes to hiring for any job they prefer a
local because they know his/her educational level, experience level and
on top of that they can communicate in their local language.
This is natural and it will not stop until economy goes up and absorbs all locals so that foreign professionals can be hired.
WHERE DOES THE PROBLEM LIES?
There is no doubt that Danish immigration board created high hopes in foreign professionals through marketing. you can real the full details http://pakistanisineurope.com/home/view-postlist/forum-7-working-in-denmark/topic-3-real-situation-in-denmark.html#ccbp3 |
