hehe.. my family refers to each other as Polacks ... and we tell awful Polish jokes ..
but that's mostly because my baci is from Poland (and hence I'm Polish) .. I never realized it was derogatory. I suppose that's another term I'll have to lock away in the vault! :D Thanks for enlightening me.

I agree with Guests, no, it's NOT that hard to start a life in Denmark. It's important to take into consideration the culture here and there are some excellent books and course out there that do a very good job!
It's important to be proactive and network too, just think: friends are not just going to come marching up to your door are they? Joining a sports club helps, as will taking a Danish Language course! I know it's hard but you just need to persevere! Good luck! |
