Is it really that hard to start your life in DK???

hehe.. my family refers to each other as Polacks ... and we tell awful Polish jokes ..

but that's mostly because my baci is from Poland (and hence I'm Polish) .. I never realized it was derogatory.  I suppose that's another term I'll have to lock away in the vault! :D  Thanks for enlightening me.

I agree with Guests, no, it's NOT that hard to start a life in Denmark.  It's important to take into consideration the culture here and there are some excellent books and course out there that do a very good job!

It's important to be proactive and network too,  just think: friends are not just going to come marching up to your door are they?  Joining a sports club helps, as will taking a Danish Language course!

I know it's hard but you just need to persevere!
