Hey Guys,
I am an Indian, i did my B.A External Degree( means taken three years exams at single shot, university takes exam such a way) from Osmania University. Later on I did my Masters Degree in Computer Applications from Madurai Kamaraj University (Corresponding Course). I have overall 7 years IT experience in several technologies. Am i eligible for apply the Green Card? How many points can i get for my Education? Please reply. Thanks Venkat |

Hi Venkat,
I think you are eligible for apply.
For your study you will get 50 points (But you have to provide educational certificate of your master's study and a sign and stamp from ur univeristy to verify that u have studied there)
For your IT experience you will get 15 points (In this case, also u have to show proper documents and you will get those points if you worked in a position under positive list)
If you are under 33 years of age then you will get 15 more points.
For your language certificate (IELTS/TOEFL) you will get few more points. (maximum 20 if ur IELTS band is 6.0)

Thanks for your reply. Please count my points based on the below information. 1) I did my Masters (3 years) course and i have 1 year PGDCA( Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications). 2) 7+ years IT experience including 2+ years IT experience in UK 3) Age in between 35 - 40 years How many of the points can i get? Hi Venkat,
please visit the following website
For ur study u will get 50 points for sure.
if ur study field is in positive list (at least 3 yrs of study on that field) then u will get 10 bonus points.
for ur work experience u will get 15 points if ur job position in positive list as well.
for ur age u will get 10 more points.
if u have At least two consecutive year's legal residence and work in an EU/EEA country or Switzerland: 10 points.
for ur language skills u can get few more points. please visit the website to see how many points u can claim for ur language skills.
